STRAWBERRY - LAGOON 440 (2008 | REFIT 2026) | YOUR SPACIOUS IONIAN SEA ESCAPE Important: Strawberry is currently undergoing a full-scale major refit, which is why updated photos are not yet available. As soon as the refit is completed, new professional photography will be uploaded. The result will be a dramatically upgraded Lagoon 440 – mechanically, electrically, and aesthetically – combining proven catamaran stability with modern systems, premium comfort, and a completely refreshed interior and exterior identity. This is no longer just a Lagoon 440. This is STRAWBERRY. ***Planned Upgrades – Refit 2026*** Strawberry is being transformed from bow to stern. All toilets are brand-new electric units, supported by completely new plumbing systems, including new through-hulls and fully renewed pipework throughout the yacht – with particular attention to all toilet and sanitation lines. Propulsion and onboard reliability are upgraded to modern standards with two completely new Volvo engines (2026) with new panels and controls, plus major servicing and inspection of critical systems, including rudder and steering system inspection and new leather on the helm wheels. Handling and deck equipment are further enhanced with a brand-new windlass, new propeller shafts / drive components, and extensive renewal of running rigging and ropes. Sailing performance is renewed with a new mainsail, complete with a new mainsail cover and UV-protective sun covers for the sails (mainsail and genoa) to keep them protected and in top condition during the Ionian summer. Electrical and energy systems are fully renewed: completely new electrical installation with new cabling throughout, new solar panels, a new inverter, and a modernised onboard power management setup. A new battery monitoring system provides clear state-of-charge visibility, so you always know how much battery is left and when to recharge. Navigation is upgraded to a modern dual-station setup, featuring new Raymarine chart plotters (MFDs) – one at the chart table in the saloon and one on the flybridge – for safe, effortless cruising in the Ionian Sea. Exterior areas are fully renewed with a new teak deck floor, new sun pads, sun beds, pillows, and sun mattresses, a new trampoline, a refreshed flybridge with new sun lounges, and new tinted protective panels around the yacht and in the saloon for improved comfort and privacy. All cabins are equipped with fans for improved airflow and sleeping comfort. Your island transfers are upgraded with a brand-new oversized dinghy (not a standard charter dinghy) featuring: hard floor, outboard engine, a steering wheel, and rear flaps – designed to carry guests comfortably. A new liferaft completes the safety and cruising setup. The interior is being completely redesigned and decorated by professionals – with a true Strawberry theme. All beds and mattresses are new, while woodwork and furniture are restored and refreshed: all interior wood surfaces (including the galley) have been sanded and polished, and all stainless steel has been polished throughout. The yacht also receives new entrance door frames and a new main saloon window frame, plus new faucets, a fully refreshed galley with new equipment (plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils), two new refrigerators, new bed linen, new bath towels and new beach towels, and new wall-mounted soap dispensers. Comfort and style upgrades continue with brand-new saloon upholstery, all-new leather upholstery on ceilings and cabins, and brand-new leather bathroom finishes. New themed curtains and many small but beautiful Strawberry-themed decorative details create a warm, boutique-like atmosphere.
