Yacht Description Our boat, the COMEDIA, is a Bavaria 49 built in 2003 and measures 15 meters in length. With its robust construction and modern equipment, it sets standards in terms of quality and safety at sea. The COMEDI # is equipped with a dinghy for shore explorations, a powerful 6 HP outboard motor, and a practical bow thruster for precise maneuvering. Safety aboard is ensured by an automatic anchor winch, an advanced GPS system, autopilot, echo sounder for depth measurements, and a professional Class A AIS. For emergencies, it is equipped with a life raft for 12 people, automatic life vests, and a satellite phone. The sail equipment includes a furling mainsail and a genoa furling system, which allow for easy and efficient sailing. Onboard power is supplied by a 3500W generator, 1200W solar panels, and a 1200AH battery bank, making the COMEDIA largely energy self-sufficient. Additional comfort is provided by extras such as a Bimini hardtop, spray hood, outdoor shower, and a swimming platform, making life onboard pleasant and relaxing. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ 6. Ten FAQs for a Sailing Adventure with "Sailing Affairs": 1. Are we expensive? Clearly - NO! Firstly, you are a maximum of four guests, which offers you a lot of privacy. Yachts of this size are often sailed with up to ten people. Furthermore, you have an experienced sailing crew and attentive hosts with us. 2. What makes our boat so special? Our boat is self-sustaining and thus sustainable. We generate our electricity from solar and produce our own drinking water. Since we live on the boat ourselves, other things are important to us than on typical charter yachts. Besides safety, quality, and a relaxed time, coming to us is like visiting friends. 3. Which islands will we visit? We try to explore the Dodecanese with you. Depending on the wind and weather, we can sail from Lipsi, over Patmos, Leros, and Symi. We plan the exact route together. 4. What does the accommodation look like? We offer three double cabins with the option of single occupancy, all equipped with modern comfort. 5. Do I need to have sailing experience and can I actively participate in sailing? Our experienced skipper and crew take care of navigation, but you are welcome to take the helm. 6. What about the catering? We offer full board with local delicacies, fresh juices, and snacks. Please let us know your dietary wishes and needs in advance. 7. What is the weather like in the Aegean? Expect mild to hot temperatures and steady winds, ideal for sailing from April to November. 8. Are children allowed on board? Yes, families are very welcome, but children should be supervised. 9. How will we get around on the islands? We use our dinghy for shore excursions and have folding bikes for explorations. Otherwise, we rent a scooter or a car together. 10. Is there WiFi on board? Yes, we offer WiFi so you can stay connected even at sea. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ 8. Internal Booking and Cancellation Conditions If these regulations conflict with those of external providers, we accept the conditions of the external provider by arrangement: Booking: A booking is considered binding as soon as a deposit of 50% of the total amount has been made. The remaining amount is due no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the trip, the total amount is due immediately. Cancellation by the guest: Up to 60 days before departure: The deposit will be refunded minus a handling fee of 100 euros. 59 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total amount will be refunded. Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be made unless a substitute guest can be provided. Cancellation by the provider: If the trip cannot take place due to unforeseen events or force majeure (e.g., adverse weather conditions, technical problems), the guest will be offered an alternative trip or the full amount will be refunded. Fair Use Policy: We place great value on respectful interaction on board. To ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all guests, we ask for compliance with the following guidelines: Avoidance of noise and disturbances, especially during nighttime hours. Careful handling of the equipment and furnishings of the boat. Consideration for the needs and privacy of other guests. Compliance with the crew's safety instructions. In case of non-compliance with these guidelines, we reserve the right to exclude the person concerned from further activities or, in extreme cases, to disembark them without any right to a refund.
